MCCANDLESS, Pennsylvania (KDKA) – Police released details of a 5-year-old girl who was hit by a vehicle and killed Wednesday night in McCandless.

According to police, the little girl, identified by the coroner as Loujain Olleak, was met at the Hickory Hills apartment complex. The police were called shortly before 8 p.m.

First responders and witnesses carried out a resuscitation of the girl, but police say she later died.

McCandless Police say they are now reconstructing the crash and actively investigating. There was not a word on possible charges.
