Allegheny Co. Well being Dept. reviews 797 new circumstances, 10 further deaths – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department reports 797 new coronavirus cases and 10 more deaths.
Of the newly reported cases, 407 out of 1,728 PCR tests were confirmed. There are 390 likely cases.
The health department says the age of new cases is between 1 year and 98 years old, with 38 being the average age. The dates for positive tests run from November 30th to December 21st.
Allegheny County has had 2,956 hospitalizations since the outbreak began.
The nationwide death toll has risen to 790.
Of the 10 newly reported deaths, one patient was in their fifties, six in their eighties, and three in their nineties. Three of the deaths were attributable to long-term care facilities, the health department said.
There have been a total of 47,908 coronavirus cases among residents of Allegheny County since the pandemic began.

As of March 14, there have been 47,908 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County, 2,956 hospitalizations and 790 deaths.
