The new 14,000 square meter facility will quadruple the area of the shelter in its old building, allowing staff and volunteers to help even more animals.
They have been at their Linden Avenue location for more than three decades and say they have been able to help “thousands upon thousands of animals” in the smaller area of 3,000 square feet.
The shelter has closed due to public appointments in preparation for the move, but they will reopen in early January. You can find out more on their website.
