AMBER alert canceled, state police say 17-year-old Stephnie White is protected – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania State Police canceled an AMBER alert for a 17-year-old girl from southern New York who went missing here in western Pennsylvania.

Stephnie White, 17, was last seen near the Route 8 area in Harrisville, Butler County.

According to state police, White was reportedly kidnapped by 50-year-old Micheal Mesko.

Shortly after the alert, however, the state police announced that they had found White safely.

The state police didn’t say anything about Mesko.
