Chase Claypool and Sammy Watkins rip Cleveland Browns after defeating Pittsburgh Steelers

CINCINNATI – The Browns caused the biggest surprise of the Wild Card weekend on Sunday night, beating the Steelers 48-37 in Pittsburgh.

Cleveland built a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

Despite the win, the odds makers don’t give the Browns much to gain in the NFL divisional round against defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Cleveland opened as an 8-point underdog, but the line quickly switched to 10 early Monday morning.

The Browns’ win over the Steelers was their first playoff win in 26 years and their first postseason road win since 1969.

A Pittsburgh player doesn’t think Cleveland will continue against Kansas City.

“Bad loss though [the] Browns are going to be gossiped next week so all is well, “Steeler’s broad receiver Chase Claypool said on TikTok Live Monday afternoon.

Claypool’s comments come less than 24 hours after Cleveland defeated his team at Heinz Field.

His teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster added fuel to the fire last week by saying “the Browns are the Browns” when asked if he had noticed a change in Cleveland this season.

Kareem Hunt, Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry and other Browns players shot the Steelers wide receiver after their street win.

Claypool wasn’t the only one shooting in Cleveland on Monday.

Sammy Watkins, the Kansas City Chief’s recipient, doesn’t think the Browns will give them much wiggle room.

“I wouldn’t go that far lol ..!” Watkins tweeted in response to a fan who said the Browns could rival the Chiefs next weekend.

The Chiefs should beat the Browns, but they better not take them lightly. Cleveland are a well trained team, they play hard and they have a lot of talent to keep close on Sunday.

Launch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET.
