PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Cinemark announced that it will reopen its theaters across Pennsylvania this Friday.

Every Cinemark theater will follow local regulations for coronavirus safety, the company said. Additionally, the chain says its employees need training, face masks, and a wellness check-up before each shift.

They also appoint a cleanliness and safety monitor at each site.

The theaters follow these protocols:

• Each auditorium will be extensively disinfected between seasons with pressure sprayers containing products classified as effective by the EPA to effectively eliminate COVID-19.
• The theaters have staggered seasons and limited capacity to maximize physical distance.
• Seat buffering technology automatically blocks seats next to a party when purchasing tickets.
• Face masks are mandatory for all theater guests and may only be removed for eating and drinking in the auditoriums. Face masks and gloves are required for all employees.
• Cinemark increases the amount of fresh air by adding refresh and replacement cycles and using supply air fans to increase the total volume of fresh outside air entering our theaters.
• All public and touch-sensitive areas are thoroughly cleaned every 30 minutes.
• Sufficient seat towels and hand disinfectants are available for the customer.
• Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online and use contactless payment methods for a more contactless experience. This limits the options for cash payments.

Visitors can also book private watch parties for groups. Comeback Classics parties are $ 99 and new films are $ 149.
