Greene Co. district lawyer says he’ll assist firms that oppose Governor Wolf’s shutdown orders – CBS Pittsburgh

GREENE COUNTY (KDKA) – The Greene County’s district attorney says he will support companies defying Governor Tom Wolf’s current coronavirus restrictions.
David Russo says any company whose license has been revoked by a state official can file a criminal complaint with his office.
In a press release, Russo says that small businesses are “the heart of Greene County” and that it is his duty to protect citizens from crimes committed by individuals against them, as well as his duty to “protect his community from crime protect that were committed by individuals the government. “
Russo says a district detective will investigate it as a possible case of “official repression.”
The current restrictions went into effect on Saturday December 12th. They included indoor eating, restricted gatherings, and more.
These restrictions apply until January 4th.
