Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Kevin Dotson out James Conner in query for Monday’s recreation – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (AP) – The Pittsburgh Steelers must try to claim the AFC North title with a new offensive line.

The Steelers (11-2) eliminated left freshman Kevin Dotson for Monday night’s game against the Bengals (2-10-1). Dotson suffered a shoulder injury against Buffalo last Sunday after replacing starter Matt Feiler, who lost for the season in the same game, with a chest injury.

Connected: Pittsburgh Steelers place Matt Feiler in the injured reserve

JC Hassenauer, who started two games in the middle earlier this season when Maurkice Pouncey was on the reserve / COVID-19 list, is likely to take over the left guard.

Pittsburgh have lost two times in a row after starting 11-0, but can still secure the championship title by beating the Bengals for the 12th time in a row or when Cleveland loses to the New York Giants on Sunday evening.

The Steelers also picked ex-seventh-round derwin Gray and recently added Danny Isidora to the roster. Pittsburgh removed Isidora from the training team this week after putting Feiler in the injured reserve.

Pittsburgh running back James Conner is questionable with a quad injury. Conner ran just 18 yards with 10 runs last week after missing two games while on the reserve / COVID-19 list. Benny Snell would probably start in Conner’s place.
