CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Welcome to the Factory of Happiness!
Cleveland Browns fans celebrate the first run in the playoffs in 18 years. An entire generation of Clevelanders has never experienced this feeling.
“If You’re In The Dance Anyone Can Win”: Playoff-linked Cleveland Browns prepare or go home with another win at Pittsburgh
No more: “Wait until next year.”
No more cleaning the locker room while other teams prepare for an extended season.
Sunday’s 24:22 win over the Steelers leads to another matchup this Sunday.
Same team, different stadium. This time in Pittsburgh.
The Ohio governor’s office tells FOX 8’s Peggy Gallek that they don’t expect to lift the 10 p.m. curfew for the game.
They encourage people to have small parties and order takeaway food and drinks to support local businesses.
The governor of Pennsylvania has not admitted any fans to Heinz Field this season, other than friends and family of players and staff, due to a state order for mass gatherings.
Although tickets for VIVID start at $ 500, no restrictions have currently been lifted that would allow the public to play the game in the stadium.
Brown’s fans are thrilled anyway, as most of them want to watch from home anyway.
“I feel great!”
“I’m on Cloud 9.”
The fans finally have confidence in a team that has promised too long to change things.
You are behind Brown’s head coach Kevin Stefanski. You’re behind quarterback Baker Mayfield.
But they’re also looking forward to the challenge the Steelers, a team that has so often got in the way of Cleveland, will be facing after resting Ben Roethlisberger yesterday.
“They have to get better because this was a Steelers team that wasn’t in full steam and we have to meet them again to move forward,” says Bob Hostutler, who recorded the game at Hooley House in Mentor.
Ryan Carpenter agrees: “The defense will hold up unless we need Denzel Ward back.”
If the Browns beat the Steelers, the next game would be on its way.
