What’s mistaken with the Pittsburgh Steelers?

After an 11-0 start, the Pittsburgh Steelers looked like a Super Bowl and people in the league wondered if it was 16-0. Three weeks later the situation is very different. After losing to Washington Football Team, Buffalo Bills, and the humble Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, the Steelers go free-fall. What doesn’t help is that their Week 16 opponents are the Indianapolis Colts, which boast the best defense in the league.
After briefly discussing the San Francisco 49ers, who received former tenth overall winner Josh Rosen from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Terez Paylor and Charles Robinson start the podcast and try to diagnose: What’s wrong with the Pittsburgh Steelers? When the culprits are an aging Ben Roethlisberger, an ineffective offensive line, a defense worn out by key violations, the guilt can be spread everywhere. JuJu Smith-Schuster, who loses a fiddle after dancing on the Bengals logo for a TikTok video, certainly doesn’t help either. (4:10)
Terez later drops the tone of an interview he did earlier this week with former Bengali recipient Chad Johnson (née Ochocinco) where they talk about the state of the touchdown celebrations and Chad reveals his ranking of the best wideouts of all time (Spoiler: Jerry Rice is third). (15:45)
In the second half of the podcast, Charles & Terez discuss two disappointing stories from the Washington Football team. First, Charles sheds light on the team paying $ 1.6 million to settle a sexual misconduct allegation about owner Dan Snyder, and how this may be the tip of the iceberg in terms of harmful nondisclosure agreements. They then talk about Dwayne Haskins being spotted wearing a mask in a strip club after Washington lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. (34:00)
At the end of the podcast, the boys preview two matchups in Week 16 as the Los Angeles Rams hope to bounce back from their embarrassing loss to the New York Jets in Seattle. and the Tennessee Titans travel to the Green Bay Packers as Aaron Rodgers and Derrick Henry try to solve their MVP case.
