Woman Gaga sings the nationwide anthem on the inauguration in Biden

Lady Gaga will sing the US national anthem at the swearing-in ceremony for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
The 34-year-old megastar will perform The Star-Spangled Banner at the inauguration on January 20, as Biden succeeds Donald Trump as president and Harris takes over the position of vice president.
Variety reports that the line-up for the ceremony will also include Jennifer Lopez, while the pledge of allegiance will be led by Fireman Andrea Hall.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, publicly supported Biden in the run-up to the presidential elections. She spoke for the Democrats at a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the eve of the November election.
She had also donned some of her most famous outfits in a video plea calling Americans to cast their vote.
When Biden’s victory was recalled in November, the emotional star posted a video on Instagram saying, “I hope all women in this country know that there is a real, real reckoning, a real change. And I hope I hope the people know that your voices have been heard, whose voices have been suppressed by power. “

Biden’s other famous supporters are John Legend, Beyoncé, and Ariana Grande.

On Wednesday, Trump became the first president in US history to be charged twice after the House of Representatives accused him of promoting violence with his allegations of election fraud.
Last week his supporters stormed the Capitol in a riot that resulted in five deaths.
