2 adults, 2 youngsters injured in Ohio freeway shootouts – CBS Pittsburgh
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Four people, including two children, were injured in a shooting on a freeway in Ohio.
The shooting west on I-670 in Columbus was reported around 11:45 a.m. Friday and apparently stemmed from an argument that took place near the Easton Town Center shopping mall. Authorities said it appeared the victims had been targeted, but further details about the shooting and the initial dispute were not released.

The victims, who were traveling in an SUV, soon got off the highway and stopped a police officer who was working on a road construction site. Two adults and one child were initially hospitalized in critical condition, but all three were later taken to a stable.

Another child was treated in the hospital with minor injuries not mentioned, while a third child was uninjured in the SUV. None of the names of the victims were made public.
The incident is still being investigated.
