5 Pittsburgh NFL gamers are giving again to the group – WPXI

WILKINSBURG, Pennsylvania – Five Pittsburgh NFL players are giving back to the community in a big way.

They invited about 400 children, ages 5 to 12, to a free soccer camp at UPMC Graham Field in Wilkinsburg.

The kids learned the basics of soccer through a variety of exercises spread across the soccer field and had the opportunity to work with players recently drafted into the NFL.

They believe activities like these help children stay on a positive path in life.

“It’s easy to do the wrong thing, but you have to focus. You have to try to stay focused and do something positive. Get good people around, ”said Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills. “The first thing we wanted to do was do something for our city, just to show our appreciation for our city and give something back to these children out here.”

The players who helped organize the event play for a number of different NFL teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and the Buffalo Bills.
