WASHINGTON COUNTY (KDKA) – Interstate 79 between the Canonsburg exit and the Houston / Eighty-Four exit has reopened after a car went up in flames Wednesday night.

A cell phone video captured the fire that occurred along the street.

The crews were able to evacuate the scene and the road is open again.

It is not known whether the vehicle was occupied during the fire or whether anyone was injured.
