Allegheny Co. Well being Dept. reviews 21 new coronavirus circumstances, 2 further deaths – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department reports 21 new coronavirus cases and two more deaths in the past 48 hours.

According to the health department, all 21 of the newly reported cases have been confirmed.

There have been a total of 7,251 hospital admissions and a total of 101,801 coronavirus cases in Allegheny County since the pandemic began.

The nationwide death toll stands at 1,976.

The two newly reported deaths were patients in the 65+ age group.

There were 101,801 COVID-19 cases among Allegheny County residents, 7,251 hospital admissions and 1,976 deaths as of March 23, 2020.
