Allegheny Co. Well being Dept. Studies 592 New Coronavirus Instances, Nationwide Fatality Attain 1,760 – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department reports 592 new coronavirus cases and one more death in the past 48 hours.

According to the health department, 450 of the newly reported cases have been confirmed and 142 are probable cases.

The test dates are between March 22nd and 28th.

The health department states that the age of new cases is between 1 month and 91 years old, with an average age of 36 years.

There have been a total of 5,741 hospital admissions and 84,850 cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County since the pandemic began.

The nationwide death toll stands at 1,760.

The most recent reported death is not associated with a long-term care facility. The patient was in his 70s.
