Allegheny County’s Well being Division Closes three Firms – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Allegheny County’s Health Department has ordered three businesses to close.

On Sunday, the Health Department ordered the closure of The Alley in Carrick, 9 Cafe / Club G97 in Wilkinsburg and 703 Social Club in Woods Run.

Inspectors found The Alley was operating as a nightclub, did not have a valid health permit, and exceeded the maximum occupancy.

9 Cafe / Club G97 also operated as a night club and had an expired health permit. The health department says there was a lack of social distancing and face masks, and they served alcohol without food. 9 Cafe / Club G97 also had unpaid civil penalties, the health department said.

As for the 703 Social Club, the health department says they operated without a valid health permit and had no face covers for staff. They also hadn’t booked the occupancy.
