PITTSBURGH – Look for South Side-based American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (NYSE: AEO) to introduce a new denim brand in the coming weeks.

Amid the release of the quarterly results, the company’s Executive Chairman and CEO Jay Schottenstein revealed the new plan in a question-and-answer session with the company’s analysts.

“We are working on a new denim concept that will be presented in the next few weeks,” Schottenstein told analysts. “We have been working on that for the past 12 months.”

He added that the company expects to have the product in stores in the next 30 days.
