KISKIMINETAS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – An Armstrong County man was detained over the weekend for drug possession and trespassing after he was found dancing on a street in Kiski Township.
Police said officers were called to Isabella Avenue on Sunday evening to make reports of a possibly drugged man who stumbled and danced in the street.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found 55-year-old Douglas Laedlein tripping and trying to dance.
According to the police, Laedlein is said to be under the influence of methamphetamine. He was in custody and had 38 bags of heroin in his possession.
It was also found that Laedlein had broken into a nearby apartment.
He was taken to Armstrong County Jail and is charged with trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, and loitering and roaming.
Police said Laedlein was later charged with drunkenness in public, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an incident in which he stumbled into a courtyard earlier during the weekend during a children’s birthday party.
