PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The former managing director of a security company used by Highmark is accused of cheating on Highmark.

According to court records, Derek Dowiak of Indiana was the general manager of Allied Universal Security, the company that provides Highmark security, and allegedly defrauded Highmark of more than $ 50,000.

Dowiak allegedly submitted fraudulent invoices for refunds for the purchase of jackets for Allied Universal Security employees.
