Bordas & Bordas Donates USD 28,000 to Ronald McDonald Home | Information, sports activities, jobs

A local law firm partnered with the Pittsburgh Steelers this season to achieve great success in finding support for the charities at the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh.

Bordas & Bordas donated $ 28,000 to charities at Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh as part of the Sacks for Kids program.

The philanthropic firm donated $ 500 to Ronald McDonald House for every sack the Pittsburgh Defense recorded for the past season, including preseason.

No team in the NFL was better than the Steelers in 2020 when it came to collecting sacks. Pittsburgh recorded a total of 56 last season

“At Bordas & Bordas, we believe it is important to give something back to the organizations in our community.” managing partner Jamie Bordas said.

“Six years ago we teamed up with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Sacks for Kids program.

“”We were delighted to be able to provide philanthropic support to the Ronald McDonald House and we are a proud partner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. “

Ronald McDonald House is a charity that aims to help families with children receiving treatment in a medical center. The organization has local chapters in more than 64 countries and regions. Often, board and lodging are offered at little or no cost, so families can focus on care and togetherness rather than worrying about the rising costs of hotels and travel.

“Although the defense lost two high-end players to injuries at the end of the season, the unit was still excellent at holding up against opposing quarterbacks throughout the season.” Said Bordas.

“The defense has set a new mark for most straight games in NFL history with at least one sack. We were thrilled to be a part of it and to know that every sack has helped local families through difficult times in their lives. “
