Browns Followers, Cleveland Firm Presents Deal: Purchase Wine, Mock Steelers Followers
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The folks behind the Cleveland Browns canned wines have a one-of-a-kind BOGO deal: buy a box of Graham + Fisk cans from Wine-in-a-Can Browns and receive a free box with a bespoke mockery message a competing fan of your choice.
Graham Veysey said his business partner Fisk Biggar got the idea on Monday morning.
“He said, ‘What do you think of that?’ “Said Veysey.” ‘That sounds great.’ “”
Here’s how it works: On the company’s website, click the Browns Wine case on the shop portal and include your rival fan’s name, address, and mockery message in the Notes section at checkout.
“We will send a case of wine to drown their worries about the hopefully Pittsburgh playoff loss,” they said in a press release. “Pittsburgh sucks. We’ve got a conflict that you’d give one of your fans something cool, but hopefully every time they take a swig from our Browns branded cans of award-winning wine it stings. “
Veysey told cleveland.com: “We cannot guarantee it will be shipped, but we hope you will receive it on time. Especially when it comes to Pittsburgh or anywhere in Pennsylvania, it should be close enough. “
The number 3 Pittsburgh Steelers will host the number 6 Browns on Sunday, January 10th at 8:15 pm. It will be Cleveland’s first playoff game since 2002.
In order to land the wine before kick-off, the deal will hopefully only last until Wednesday, January 6th, 11:59 pm.
The cost for 24 of the 8.4 ounce cans is $ 89.94. Choose between white wine, rose wine with soap bubbles, white wine with soap bubbles and red wine.
The six-year-old company is based in the 19th century Ohio City Firehouse on W. 29th Street in Cleveland’s Hingetown neighborhood. However, the wine is made from California grapes.
“Despite the challenges, 2020 was our biggest year,” said Veysey.
