BROWNSVILLE (KDKA) – Brownsville military veterans now have a place to be honored.

A new roll of honor has been created in the middle of town, listing the names of those killed in action or missing in action, as well as the names of other Brownsville veterans.

The wall was inaugurated in November 2020.

“Five years ago, I had coffee with Jack Lawver, who was then chairman of the council,” recalls Falsetto. “He mentioned that we didn’t have a roll of honor in town. I didn’t know I was going to be elected chairman of the committee, ”said Denny Falsetto.

“It was something that was very close to my heart and that I thought was necessary,” said Falsetto.

Brownsville used to have a roll of honor, but it was demolished beforehand.
