California District Police chief and firefighter Tim Sheehan has died – CBS Pittsburgh

CALIFORNIA, PA (KDKA) – The California borough police chief died Thursday morning.

Chef Tim Sheehan died of a heart attack while shoveling snow. He was a police officer for 26 years and the boss for the last two years.

Sheehan was also the school officer for the California Area School District.

“Our community is saddened by the sudden death of our Police Chief and Brother Fireman Tim Sheehan. Please keep the Sheehan family in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times. Rest in peace, Tim, ”said California Mayor Frank Stetar on Facebook.

He was also a firefighter with Brownsville Fire Company # 1.

“Our thoughts and prayers go with his wife Kim, sons Timothy and Brendan, and daughter Erin. Take a rest, brother, we’ll take it from here, ”the company said on Facebook.
