PITTSBURGH – Churchill Borough has begun three days of hearings on a proposal to convert 144 acre George Westinghouse Research Park into a new Amazon.com Inc. distribution facility – through Zoom.

However, the zoom format, which has been widely used for meetings since the beginning of the pandemic, has its advantages and disadvantages.

Churchill Borough Manager Alex Graziani had reason to believe that up to 500 people could attend a total of 15 hours that could last three nights, beginning July 19, with a second day likely July 22 and a third day of hearings in July 26, possibly
