PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – University of Pittsburgh police are looking for a suspect who has tried unsuccessfully to break into a resident’s home overnight.

According to Pitt Police, the incident took place around 1:09 a.m. on Saturday off campus on the 400 block on Semple Street.

Police report that the victim claimed the suspect tried to open the back door and a window.

The victim yelled at the suspect who had fled the scene.

Police say the suspect has been described as a man in dark clothes.
