PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Commonwealth Court judges have ruled in favor of the Steelers in a stadium battle.

The Steelers wanted to paint some of the seats black to spell Heinz Field, or the future owner of the stadium rights. The city said it couldn’t because it would be an outward sign, meaning the Steelers would need a building permit.

Two courts have ruled that it is not a sign as everything is in the stadium.
