THE NEW CENTER IS DESIGNED TO OFFER UNDER-SERVICES, IN PARTICULAR DISABLED, YOUNG PEOPLE AND VETERANS, WORK AND TRAINING WITH CVS. >> THIS IS A BIG DAY. THIS IS A BIG INITIATIVE. CVS Health announced on Wednesday that it has opened its newest Workforce Innovation and Talent Center at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Pittsburgh for people with disabilities, older workers, youth and veterans. The new Pittsburgh center will provide training for job seekers as pharmacy technicians, customer service representatives, call center workers and retail workers. It has a stimulated retail store for hands-on job training and a fully functioning restaurant where attendees can get on-site restaurant services training. CVS Health and Ebenezer Baptist Church also focus on issues such as food insecurity and access to community health. The center will provide on-site support services including a health clinic, pantry, daycare, after-school programs and transportation assistance.

CVS Health announced on Wednesday that it has opened its newest Workforce Innovation and Talent Center at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Pittsburgh.
The center is part of the company’s commitment to building on its faith and community partnerships to provide recruitment services and training to underserved communities such as the disabled, older workers, youth and veterans.
The new Pittsburgh center will provide training for those seeking employment as a pharmacy technician, customer service representative, call center worker, and retail worker. It has a stimulated retail store for hands-on vocational training and a fully functioning restaurant where attendees can receive on-site restaurant service training.
CVS Health and the Ebenezer Baptist Church also focus on issues such as food insecurity and access to health care in the community. The center will provide on-site support services including a health clinic, pantry, daycare, after-school programs and transportation assistance.
