Debut in second Motto by Hilton Resort; extra US openings

Recent openings in the US include two Hilton hotels in major cities in Pennsylvania, a Tribute Portfolio hotel in Memphis, and two Red Roof locations in Texas.

Hilton, in partnership with Cafritz Interests, Parkway Corporation and Modus Hotels, has opened Motto by Hilton Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square, a 252-room hotel in the heart of Center City Philly.

The hotel, which is part of the Hilton Lifestyle portfolio, is the brand’s second hotel after opening a Washington, DC location in the summer of 2020, also in partnership with Modus Hotels.

The 234 travel-size rooms and 18 larger studio rooms offer 50-inch rooms. Flat screens, high ceilings, and loft-style windows with city views. Thanks to the intelligent room technology, guests can stream their favorite programs, control the room climate and adjust the lighting. The hotel also has three F&B outlets, including the Taqueria on the roof of El Techo.

The Industrialist Hotel, autograph collection
The Industrialist Hotel, Autograph Collection, opened in the central business district of Pittsburgh. Owned and managed by HRI Lodging LLC, the 124-room hotel is located in the 18-story Arrott landmark.

The hotel, inspired by Pittsburgh’s resilient history as the steel capital, was restored and renovated by Desmone Architects and designed by Stonehill Taylor. It has a lobby bar. a social lounge with a fireplace and communal seating; more than 1,200 square feet of multi-purpose event space; and The Rebel Room Signature Restaurant.

The rooms are equipped with free WiFi. TV streaming capabilities; pet friendly amenities upon request; and access to the 1,000 sq.-ft. Fitness center and services such as limo and rental car options, grocery shopping concierge, dry cleaning and valet parking.

The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, a boutique hotel in Overton Square in Midtown Memphis, has opened. Developed by LPI Memphis in collaboration with MMI Hotel Group and LRC2 Properties, the hotel has 106 rooms including nine suites, a 24-hour gym, a curated retail experience and rooftop event space.

The hotel also has two food and beverage concepts. Designed by Dryden Studio, Complicated Pilgrim, the lobby level restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily and has a full-service coffee-cocktail bar. Tiger and Peacock, a rooftop bar designed by GCD Interiors, overlooks Midtown Memphis.

Red Roof opens two hotels in Texas
Red Roof’s 62-room HomeTowne Studios – Lake Jackson and the 70-room Red Roof Inn – Lake Jackson have opened, bringing the total of Red Roof properties in the state of Texas to 70.

HomeTowne Studios on Red Roof Lake Jackson offer rooms with kitchenettes with full-size refrigerators, free in-room Wi-Fi, HD flat-screen TVs with cable, and weekly housekeeping. Coin-operated laundry service and a complimentary extended cable package with HBO are offered to guests.

The Red Roof Inn Lake Jackson offers a fitness center, seasonal pool, free coffee in the lobby, expanded cable, indoor and outdoor entrances, and free parking.
