PITTSBURGH, Nov. 1, 2021 / PRNewswire / – DICK’S Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) will expand the presence of its Public Lands outdoor concept with the opening of its second Public Lands store – in Columbus, Ohio – on Nov. 1. DICK’S, the leading US golf retailer, will also open its second Golf Galaxy Performance Center in Woodbury, Minn.

Public Lands is an outdoor specialty store focused on helping more people get outside to explore and protect America’s public lands.

The Columbus location will stock a premium range of outdoor and lifestyle apparel, shoes and equipment brands and support the local outdoor community through conservation and access and equity initiatives. The 60,000 m² store will have a 9 m high cliff face, an in-store equipment repair and rental department, and specialized shops for various outdoor activities such as biking, camping, fishing, paddling, climbing, running and hiking. This new store concept, which debuted in Pittsburgh in September, will offer upscale customer service that relies on employees who are passionate about their love for the outdoors and who believe in protecting our public land for all. One percent of all Public Lands sales will go back to local and national conservation efforts.

The newly designed Golf Galaxy Performance Center in Woodbury, Minn., offers golfers of all abilities a complete experience – access to industry-leading TrackManTM and BioMechTM golf technology, state-of-the-art pits, custom fittings, golf lessons from a Class A Certified PGA Professional, and the best of equipment, clothing and footwear from top brands like Callaway, TaylorMade, PING, Titleist, Nike, adidas, Under Armor, FootJoy and more. The location expands the company’s commitment to golf, which will include 18 converted Golf Galaxy locations and an expanded technology offering at all Golf Galaxy locations across the country by the end of 2021.
