Pennsylvania Peach by Uighur Whiskey
2401 Smallman St., Strip district. wiglewhiskey.com
Wigle Whiskey is the first cross-state collaboration to offer Pennsylvania peach whiskey in combination with Tröegs Independent Brewing. The process behind the spirit sounds delicious. First, whiskey is distilled from locally grown wheat grains, aged in burnt oak barrels for four years, then transferred to Treggs, soaked with peaches and apricots. $ 1 from each bottle goes to Pennsylvania’s food supply mission to connect food-conscious Pennsylvania residents with surpluses from local farms.
