Enhancements on Wabash Avenue Tuesday, Wednesday in Pittsburgh


Pittsburgh, PA PennDOT District 11 announces road improvement works on Wabash Street in the city of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, on Tuesday and Wednesday March 9-10, weather permitting.

Single lane swap traffic, controlled by flags, takes place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wasbash Street between Saw Mill Run Boulevard and Shaler Street. In addition, there may be intermittent traffic stops. The crews will be doing work to improve the curb and inlet.

The work is part of the $ 14.55 million Route 19 / Shaler Street Bridge Replacement project. Swank Construction Company, LLC is the prime contractor.
