Faculty Appoints New Director, Profession Companies
Ithaca College appointed Dave Curry as the new Director of Career Services within the Department of Student Affairs and Campus Life on September 14th.
In one (n Intercom Post, the college announced that Curry’s hiring has completed a nationwide search that began in June 2021. Will curry howtake the role on October 19th.
According to the announcement, Laurie Koehler, vice president of marketing and enrollment strategy, led the search and worked with committee members Stacia Zabusky, Senior Associate Dean for Curriculum and Undergraduate Programs in the School of Humanities and Sciences; Hierald Osorto, Executive Director for Student Equity and Belonging & Religious & Spiritual Life; Ed Catto, Lecturer in Management; Gretchen Van Valen, Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, and Jordan Stecker ’21 to select the finalists from a pool of candidates.
Curry completed his BA in Justice Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004, while he completed a Masters of Education in Middle and Secondary Instruction from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2010, the announcement said. Curry holds a teaching certification from Edinboro and certification as an administrative director and career director from Temple University.
