died suddenly on December 30, 2020 at the age of 72. Preceded by the death of his parents Mary (Tarsovich) Kollar and father George Kollar, Sr. Survived by beloved wife Deborah (Dragovich) Kollar, daughter Leah (Kollar) Maretsky and son James Maretsky, the big puppy Charlee, the sisters Patricia Peles (William) and Michele Kollar-Reeder, both from Johnstown. also survived by nephews, nieces and many sponsored children. George graduated from Johnstown High School from the Ivy School of Art. George was a US Army veteran. George was heavily involved in the arts (photography). He was a member of the Associated Artists and the Pittsburgh Society of Artists. George sang in the folk group at St. James in Wilkinsburg, PA. His cheerful spirit, his laughter, and his kindness made him loved by everyone he met. Due to Covid restrictions, the services are only offered to private and immediate families.
