Steve Plummer strengthens the PALO creative team
YOUNGSTOWN – PALO Creative has hired Steve Plummer as Director of Creative Services.
Plummer earned an associate’s degree in visual communication from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He has 36 years of marketing experience and has been the creative director of international marketing agencies in northeast Ohio for the past 14 years. His responsibilities included leading teams, creating design concepts, implementing brand strategies and working to bridge the gap between creative, account and strategy teams.
“PALO Creative does more digitally driven work than any other agency I’ve worked for in the past,” said Plummer in a press release. “So for me this is an exciting opportunity to learn more about this side of things and apply everything I’ve learned from working for big brands over the years.”
President and CEO Rob Palowitz hired seven new team members last year to serve the agency’s growing client list.
“Steve has extensive knowledge and experience in the business-to-business manufacturing sector,” said Palowitz. “His experience working with industry leaders, C-level executives and international brands will help expand the skills of our team to understand what works best in the market. In addition to his experience in many management positions, he will give our creative team a better understanding of how our customers’ voice and their message can be received and developed. “
Youngstown Blue Coats celebrates the reopening of the office
HUBBARD – Youngstown Blue Coats will celebrate the reopening of its office at 6169 Youngstown-Hubbard Road with an opening ceremony on Monday at 10 a.m.
The organization has expanded, reorganized, and modernized its office to make it more efficient and to provide more supplies for more people during the winter months.
Youngstown Blue Coats offers the homeless and veteran in need winter coats, boots, gloves, tents, sleeping bags, and other items.

Missi Mangino joins iSynergy as a junior video producer
CANFIELD – The digital marketing agency iSynergy, 558 E. Main St., has hired Missi Mangino as a junior video producer.
Mangino holds a degree in telecommunications media from Youngstown State University, where she gained experience video recording for YSU soccer and tennis teams.
Since graduating, she has been working as a freelancer and, in addition to commercial work, also produces video and still photography.
“Missi brings video experience, but also a new way of looking at what we’re doing here,” said Steve Cross, iSynergy owner and creative director, in a press release. “We are very happy to have them on our team and to let them grow and develop with us.”
