Highmark Well being is giving $ 1.5 million to construct management abilities in Pittsburgh Information
PITTSBURGH, February 9, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Highmark Health announced one today $ 1.5 million Committed to the Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI Institute), a new nonprofit that is being formed and focused on building the pipeline of African American leaders across the region Pittsburgh Region as well as national. This financial commitment is part of Highmark Health’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) throughout the organization and its subsidiaries.
The $ 1.5 million Highmark Health’s commitment consists of a one-time contribution from $ 1 million with start-up financing for a new foundation of the TALI Institute and $ 100,000 annually for five years in total $ 500,000to support the operation of the TALI Institute. Highmark Health was a founding member of the Advanced Leadership Initiative (TALI) in 2018, along with other presenting sponsors and lead contributors in the Pittsburgh Community. Highmark Health proudly confirms TALI’s partnership with Carnegie Mellon University the Executive Leadership Academy in developing its signature program. TALI remains one of many key programs that meet best practice standards for diversity and inclusion in the Southwest Pennsylvania.

In the first three years, the TALI Cohort Community has grown to include nearly 80 middle-level African American executives and managers. To build on these advances, TALI announced that Evan Frazier, currently SVP for Community Affairs at Highmark Health, will join the TALI Institute as President and CEO 8th of March.
