Historical past Middle, Pittsburgh, is promoting Kindness Zone avenue indicators for ‘1-4-Three Day’ – WPXI
PITTSBURGH – The Heinz History Center is celebrating “1-4-3 Day” with the City of Pittsburgh and Mister Rogers by selling street signs and magnets for the Kindness Zone.
Starting Thursday, three different versions of the sign will be on sale in his museum shop on Smallman Street in the Strip District or in his online shop in the History Center.
Prices range from $ 3.95 for the weatherproof stickers to $ 44.95 for the replica street signs.

Kindness Zone signs were installed in dozen of locations around the Pittsburgh area in 2019, including outside the History Center.
All proceeds from the Kindness Zone signs, which the history center produces free of charge for the city, will go to the museum’s educational programs and exhibitions.

May 23rd will be a “1-4-3 day” in Pennsylvania where people – like Pittsburgh’s Fred Rogers – are encouraged to show more kindness and gratitude to one another.
Rogers used 1-4-3 to say “I love you” on his TV show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, based on the number of letters in each word.
