Incendiary gadget thrown from transferring truck in Pittsburgh | Newspaper headlines

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh police are looking for a driver who has reportedly thrown a destructive device from a moving truck.

Police believe the truck was involved in an incident that took place on Penn Avenue in the Lawrenceville neighborhood on Sunday evening.

Police and fire brigade were called on site to receive reports of a fire device thrown from a moving vehicle. No one was injured, but a vehicle parked nearby was damaged.

Police said they are also investigating reports of an explosion in the 200 block of Dinwiddie Street in the Hill District.

Two separate bomb squadrons are investigating the incidents.
