WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – A woman reported missing on Friday morning was found dead, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

Maxine Gillis, a 79-year-old woman who was reported missing early Friday morning, was found dead on Friday just after noon on the 2200 block on William Penn Highway in Wilkinsburg.

Police reported Gillis missing Friday morning and said that she should be dropped off at a family member’s on Park Hill Drive’s 2100 block. While she was dropped off by taxi at around 1:00 a.m., she never got home.
