PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Customers and employees who are fully vaccinated no longer need to wear masks in Giant Eagle.

The company announced that it will follow CDC guidelines and will no longer require masks as of Monday for people who are fully vaccinated in stores or at GetGo locations.

If you haven’t been vaccinated, you can get a COVID-19 shot at Giant Eagle. The pharmacies in the shop offer a walk-in availability.

Giant Eagle is one of many grocery stores that remove masks for fully vaccinated individuals. Aldi also joined the list on Tuesday and stated that they have also adopted the CDC guidelines.
