Man in essential situation after being shot useless a number of instances within the Hill District – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh police are investigating an overnight shootout in which a man was in critical condition.

Police said the officers were dispatched to the 2200 block on Webster Avenue shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday after a shotspotter alert.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot several times.

Paramedics took the man to a local hospital. Most recently it was listed in critical condition.

Police say no arrests have been made, nor are there any descriptions of suspects.
