Washington, PA (KDKA) — The Meadows Racecourse and Casino in Washington County are no longer available.

Its new name was announced Friday morning and is now known as Meadows Hollywood Casino. To celebrate, there are activities and fireworks shows (if the weather permits) throughout the weekend.
Rahul Kaushik, Vice President of Marketing at the casino, said:

The casino’s parent company has the “Hollywood Casino” brand on many of its facilities.
Other changes are planned, including some renovations of the casino and the addition of new restaurants.
“We started upgrading this place with what a typical Hollywood flagship store has,” Kausik said. “I upgraded the food court. [new] At restaurants, sports books are placed in the middle of the casino to create excitement. I cleaned the casino floor.Add ember [Lounge] By the racetrack for the crowd of races. Kausik says he already has plans to upgrade the new sportsbook.
