Metropolis of Monessen Holds 2nd Citywide Cleanup and Recycle Tax – CBS Pittsburgh

MONESSEN (KDKA) – The city of Monessen is holding a city-wide cleanup day this coming weekend.

Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and ending last night through noon, volunteers will meet at 8:00 a.m. in 9th Street Park to collect supplies.

The focus will be on areas such as 3rd, 6th and 9th Streets, as well as the downtown business district.

In the Monessen City Garage on Parente Boulevard, residents can recycle old, unwanted electronics and devices between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Identification and proof of residence are required.
