Patrolmen, Bicycle Units, River Rescue, and the Special Victims Unit were all on site at Southside River Front Park. The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office was also there using drones.

The police say they didn’t find Hughes.

It comes after police released footage of him at a gas station the night he disappeared. Detectives ask anyone who saw him in or near the unknown location to call the police.

Hughes was last seen on January 23 at around 11 p.m. He was wearing a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans, black boots, and a black Carhart jacket. He is described as 6-foot-1 and weighs 260 pounds. He also has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police say Hughes’ silver 2012 Volkswagen Routan was found on the south side near the Riverfront Trail last weekend.
