PITTSBURGH — The local ownership of the former YMCA building in East Liberty has filed a counter claim against the Ace Hotel, alleging the New York-based hotel operator interfered in a sale of the property, new court documents reveal.

The hotel remains closed under court order this week and can’t be marketed for sale amid an ongoing legal dispute first filed in February.

Nate Cunningham, one of the stakeholders for the ownership group, declined to comment on pending litigation.
