Over the weekend, dozens chose a game to save lives.
The first hockey game “Save The Brains” made the Epidermoid Brain Tumor Society aware of brain tumors and money through hockey.

And for one of the organizers, today’s game had a special meaning.
“My father was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, no cure, little to no research. I think I started a campaign in first grade to do some research and hopefully find a cure, ”said Sam Kieffer.

Sam says he hopes to build on the success of today’s game and have many more of it to save lives.
