2021-08-22 05:34:14 GMT + 00: 00 – Mitchell Trubisky set fire to his former team by 221 yards and a touchdown to lead the Buffalo Bills to a 41:15 win over the Chicago Bears on Saturday game the preseason.

Trubisky completed 20 of 28 passes while receiving a mix of boos and cheers from fans at Soldier Field. He was selected by the Bears with the 2017 NFL Draft’s second overall pick, but the team declined to choose his option for the fifth year.

Trubisky is expected to endorse Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen this season. Everyone suspended the competition on Saturday.

Chicago’s Andy Dalton completed 11 of 17 passes for 146 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields stepped in in the third quarter and completed 9 of 19 passes for 80 yards while storming 46 yards.

Fields got a scare to start the fourth quarter after being drilled by Bill’s linebacker Andre Smith, who was whistled for roughing the passerby. Khalil Herbert scored a 13-yard touchdown run on the next play.

Nozzles 23, packers 14

New York rookie quarterback Zach Wilson put on a great performance, reaching 128 yards and two touchdowns for the win. New Jets wide receiver Corey Davis had four catches for 70 yards while tight end Tyler Kroft caught both hits from Wilson. Matt Ammendola scored three field goals for the Jets, including a 54-yarder. The Packers finished with three turnovers.

Dolphins 37, Falcons 17

Tua Tagovailoa passed for 183 yards and a touchdown, and Myles Gaskin scored twice when Miami overtook Atlanta as hosts. The sophomore quarterback found Gaskin for an 8-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to highlight a clear performance against a Falcons team resting their starters. The first unit of the Dolphins played the first half and went into the locker room with a 14-3 lead. Atlanta’s AJ McCarron, who is replacing Matt Ryan, was 3-of-6 for 43 yards before leaving with a knee injury. Feleipe Franks came up and made 4-of-9 passes for 46 yards and one interception.

Ravens 20, panthers 3

Baltimore scored a win in Carolina and set the NFL record by winning the 19th straight game, joining Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers from 1959 to 1962. The Ravens rested about half of their offensive starters, including quarterback Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, throwing 187 yards with an interception in his place. Nate McCrary and Ty’Son Williams each rushed to score a point for Baltimore. Sam Darnold attempted only two passes for Carolina, one of which was a 16-yard deal for Robby Anderson, his former teammate with the New York Jets. Christian McCaffrey did not fit in with the Panthers, who only covered 33 yards in 17 rush attempts without their star backwater.

Steelers 26, Lions 20

Ben Roethlisberger achieved a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3 and threw two touchdowns in Pittsburgh’s triumph over Detroit. Roethlisberger completed 8 out of 10 passes for 137 yards for the Host Steelers, while the Lions relied on quarterback Jared Goff.
