PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – On Sunday, vaccine efforts continued to increase in our region.

The OCA’s Asian-American lawyers have teamed up with UPMC for a second-dose COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
The clinic focused on helping members of the local Asian-American and Pacific islander communities with vaccination.

To ensure that everyone who needed a recording got one, there were two dozen interpreters to help direct the process.
“Three or four weeks ago we were able to bring them in and create a sense of comfort in the translators,” said Marian Lien, President of OCA Pittsburgh. “We have over 25 translations in both Madrian and Spanish for these community members, many of whom work in our restaurant industry.”
