Oh the locations they will go! – Philadelphia Sports activities Nation

In the off-season, the Eagles organization members can prepare their travel arrangements. With what is certainly an interesting off-season, players can hopefully use this time to put their minds and bodies in order and prepare for a campaign in 2021. Let’s take a look at some potential travel destinations for some of our beloved eagles.

Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Jason Kelce – Las Vegas, Nevada

It’s not Hawaii, but a well-deserved Pro Bowl pick for these three guys, especially Graham, who was picked for his first Pro Bowl. Graham does the right things on and off the field and always provides that spark * cough, Super Bowl cough * when needed. Despite being overshadowed by the tragic offensive play this season, Kelce has had another great year. In 1,062 offensive snaps in week 16, Kelce only missed four of those, allowing only four sacks to be the most sacked team in the NFL. Last but not least, Big Fletch had another normal Cox year of being a staple. We saw an increase in bags, tackles for loss and tackles overall compared to last year. Although this year was bad, these three guys played their hearts out in every game. A huge ray of hope in a year without success. Even though the game isn’t being played, these guys deserve a little vacation.

Jason Peters – Naples, Florida

Peters, Eagles Nation is eternally grateful and extremely blessed that you have been our bodyguard for the past 12 years, BUT…. It’s time to retreat to Florida. Sit back and relax, you deserve it.

Carson Wentz – Possible goals

Indianapolis, Indiana – This is the easy way to reunite with Frank Reich and step onto the coattails of the Andrew Luck wagon. If Wentz were to leave Philadelphia, this is my preferred landing destination. Doug Pederson, Howie Roseman, and Wentz’s relationship is strained and is unlikely to change in the off-season unless drastic changes occur. Not to mention old Phillip Rivers who can’t even play short yard situations under the middle and lets Jacoby Brissett take the hits. Colts need a quarterback, but a deal seems difficult due to Wentz’s contract.

Foxborough, Massachusetts – You could introduce yourself, LOL

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – This one is similar to Indianapolis in that the quarterback is old but has a very strong defense. To be fair, Ben Roethlisberger looked better than Rivers, but that doesn’t really say much. But Roethlisberger somehow manages to hobble through season after season, so who knows when his time to leave Pittsburgh will come. But from Wentz’s point of view, walking across town and giving the bird to Roseman and Pederson would be a sweet revenge.

DeSean Jackson & Alshon Jeffrey – Anywhere except Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, please

Much like Peters, I appreciate everything they did for the Eagles, but they’re not as good as they used to be. On top of the fact that the Eagles are in a very unfavorable cap-space situation, their contracts are just not worth it. We put too many draft picks into the position not to give Jalen Reagor, Quez Watkins and John Hightower the fair shot. Not to mention Travis Fulgham and / or Greg Ward Jr. would be smart too.

Patrick Surtain II – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

With the 2021 NFL Draft the next thing Eagles’ fan to look forward to, it’s time to talk about the needs. Yes, Ja’Marr Chase is the sexy choice here, but he may not even be available. We have to address other needs and strengthen our broad recipient corps. When something is clear, secondary school needs help. Andy Dalton looked like a fucking MVP and carved us for Christmas dinner. Kyler Murray dominated the air with a height of 406 meters. The Eagles could potentially trade a handful of picks back to add draft capital and get a very good player in Surtain. He’s playing against NFL receivers in the SEC and he’s holding his own. I think Surtain would save the fans a year ago: “We designed X over Y.”

Regardless of where these players end up, I wish them a safe journey and look forward to a brighter 2021. Go Birds!

Hey gang of birds. I am a Michigander who decided at the age of 12 that Thanksgivings no longer had to be ruined by losing Lions. David Akers is my spirit animal. I look forward to sharing my view as an Eagles fan and hearing your thoughts on the best team in the NFL. #FlyEaglesFly
