Pa. State Police examine two folks wounded in trade of gunfire between two autos in Sharpsburg – CBS Pittsburgh

SHARPSBURG (KDKA) – One man is in critical condition and another is expected to recover after gunshots were exchanged between two vehicles near Route 28 in Sharpsburg.

According to state police, on Saturday afternoon 911 dispatchers from Allegheny Co. asked soldiers to search for a vehicle that may have been involved in a shooting.
The soldiers were able to locate the vehicle that contained evidence of a shooting. According to the police, the vehicle was found at the exit along route 28 heading south at exit 5 (Etna).

The soldiers investigated and found that a second vehicle was also involved in the shooting, with one victim sustained gunshot wounds in each vehicle.
According to the police, one victim drove himself to an area hospital, while the other victim was taken to the hospital in a third, unknown vehicle.
According to police, one victim was last listed in critical condition while the other is expected to recover.
